Society's attitude toward McCandless #5

""He helped me a lot," Burres acknowledges. "He watched the table when I needed to leave, categorized all the books, made a lot of sales. He seemed to get a real kick out of it. Alex was big on the classics: Dickens, H G. Wells, Mark Twain, Jack London."

  1. This is a quote that shows that Alex was a very good worker. All the bosses that Alex went through, and even the co-workers that have experienced McCandless knew that he is a very good helper. They all knew that McCandless will get the work done, and do better than how everyone else did. That is why they all treated him fairly, and nicely at work. in this quote, McCandless was especially good at this job, because it involved alot of books, which he loved to death. As they saw that McCandless very good with books, and that he would convince people in many ways to sell them, and get them to read, they were especially nice to him, and they actually liked him a lot at his job site.
