McCandless' attitude toward a flawed society #3

""H***, no," Alex scoffed. "How I feed myself is none of the government's business. F*** their stupid rules.""

  1. McCandless believes that the society is in need of no governmental control. He believes that everyone will be able to live in more peace, if they had no such rules, because he thinks that the society has their own ways of living, in which they can be more happy with. He sees the society that actually bow down before the governments, not being able to express their feelings, and doing what the "rulers" allow them to do instead of what their minds are telling them to do, as stupid. Simply, it is just like the saying that people now a days use very often. "mind your own business." McCandless thinks that everyone needs to mind their own business, and not interrupt how the individuals live, think, and do things. He is saying that the society needs to be happy, by living the way they want, and just following what their minds are telling them to do.
